Berry Me Trifle

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 16 oz. whipped topping or whipped cream
  • 1 prepared angel food cake torn into 1″-2″ pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2-3 lbs fresh strawberries

Directions

  1. Hull and slice strawberries. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and gently toss to coat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Whip cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Fold in 8 oz. of whipped topping.
  3. Place a layer of cake pieces in the bottom of a large trifle dish, top cake with a layer of the cream cheese mixture and follow with a layer of strawberries. Repeat layering. Top final layer with remaining whipped topping. Garnish with sliced strawberries.
