Turkey and White Bean Chili

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
  2. 1 cup red onion, chopped
  3. 1/3 cup poblano pepper, seeded and chopped
  4. 2 garlic cloves, minced
  5. 1 tablespoon chili powder
  6. 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  7. 2 teaspoon dried oregano
  8. 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  10. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  11. 1 19-ounce can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
  12. 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
  13. 1 14-ounce can fat-free,
  14. less-sodium chicken broth
  15. 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  16. 6 lime wedges
Instructions
  1. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add first four ingredients and cook until turkey is done (about 6 minutes). Stir frequently to crumble the turkey.
  2. Stir in chili powder, tomato paste, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, cannellini beans, diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
